
User Data Policy Senior Specialist

- Review and process legal requests for user information from global law enforcement and government agencies
- Review and process legal removal requests from governments, law enforcement, private parties (lawyers/solicitors), and users
- Support workflows involving user data policy issues, such as privacy & data protection requests
- Participate in the Trust & Safety Policy emergency on-call rotation, which reviews and processes Emergency Removal Requests and
- Manage internal escalations and educate partner teams on our policies and procedures
- Identify and proactively communicate trends in order to inform decisions around policy and workflow development
- Work cross-functionally with Legal, Anti-Evil Operations, Community, and Engineering teams in order to efficiently carry out job responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and identify user-related issues, and work with our stakeholders to seek resolutions right-sized solutions while mitigating risk
- 4+ years relevant work experience, specifically handling legal requests for user information
- Experience in working on legal content removal requests is a strong plus
- Critical thinker who creates tailored solutions to a wide range of challenges
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- Motivated self-starter who thrives in unstructured environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work and make decisions independently
- Prior experience in a global team and working across time zones with flexibility on working hours
- Required: Native proficiency in Indonesian language (Bahasa Indonesia)
- Additional language proficiency (eg, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Japanese, etc) a strong plus
