- As part of a team, develop and improve a set of products and standards which help individuals and organizations to understand and implement best practices for data protection and innovative data use
- Assessing unserved and underserved needs in the data protection ecosystem and identifying innovative solutions to help address them
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle for PDPC’s industry-facing products (e.g. tools, e-learning, registries) from discovery to operations, shape solution design (high-level architecture, data models and integrations), and make infrastructure calls (hosting, databases, security).
- Manage both inhouse delivery (leveraging IMDA’s tech stack) and partner-led delivery (with IMDA’s Digital Transformation Office, GovTech product teams, vendors) to achieve faster time-to-market.
- Supporting Singapore's contributions to international standards and best practices which promote data protection and good governance, and create the conditions for innovative data use.
- 5 years relevant work experience in one or more of the following disciplines: product management, data science, data governance, tech solution consulting
- Deep familiarity with how data is used by companies
- Self-starter, with a track record of independently managing concurrent projects to delivery
- Ability to translate user needs into product requirements, define clear success metrics, and track delivery and performance
- Technical fluency: able to shape how a product is put together (front end, back end, APIs), make sensible hosting and data-storage choices, and weigh integration, performance, security/privacy, and accessibility trade-offs.
