- New client and business acquisition for the business
- Maintain and nurture existing client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities to expand these relationships by providing additional services and solutions, and the clients receive exceptional service.
- Develop and implement strategic sales and account management plans. Identify and target potential clients through cold calling, industry events, engagement with DBS’ relationship managers, and other stakeholders
- Work closely with the internal teams including implementation managers, relationship managers, product teams, operations and senior management to develop and implement sales strategies
- Take lead and project manage Request for Information (RF) and/or Request for Proposals (RFPs)
- Keep abreast of latest industry trends, market behaviours, competitive insights to help shape sales strategies. Monitor and analyze client’s usage of our product(s).
- Identify and cross sell banking services where opportunities arise
- Understand and adhere to all compliance standards, regulations and laws applicable to the securities industry.
- Meet budgeted sales growth for his/her portfolio
- Deliver on new client and business acquisition targets
- Understand the bank’s risk management culture and ensure 100% compliance
- Ability to work under pressure and think out of the box
- Independent and strive for challenges.
- Strong team player and high aptitude of interpersonal skills to work with the wider team
- Self motivated and self directed, able to work without supervision
- Excellent relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate and work with a variety of internal and external shareholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
