What the role is:You would be part of the team that will help to strengthen MOM's engagement of and develop a strategic relationship with Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs). This will enable MOM to improve outreach to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) through TACs and seek out/incorporate the business community's feedback earlier in the policy formulation process.What you will be working on:
  • Formally and systematically engage TACs regularly, to meet both TACs and MOM's longer-term strategic goals. • Submit quarterly reports to senior management and teams in MOM, so that they are aware of key business concerns and feedback in the process of formulating and refining manpower-related policies. • Work closely with relevant MOM/MTI Divisions to address each TAC's interests, and ensure they align with MOM's interests.

  • Strong collaboration and engagement skills, with ability to work across teams and to forge and deepen relationships with external stakeholders. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think strategically. • Excellent writing and presentation skills. • Able to take initiative and work independently in understanding and resolving issues, and driving projects across a wide range of issues. • PWDs are welcomed to apply
