SIM-LTU is looking for associates who are dedicated, highly-motivated and possess a strong passion for teaching and shaping the minds of the young generation. Candidates must be able to handle a big size class, deliver the course content in a 3-hour lecture format on a weekly basis, and manage assessment marking within a given deadline. They will work closely with the course coordinator based in the partner university to achieve the desired students’ outcome.Appointed lecturers will receive ample opportunities to attend program-specific training in teaching pedagogy, individual domain areas and educational technology, as well as cross-disciplinary and customised professional development activities.Module: THS2001 Hospitality ManagementThis course is designed to develop students’ skills and knowledge to identify and examines major issues in hospitality management. Students will be taught on the management of the hospitality sector including food and beverage outlets, types of accommodations and trends in service delivery. Sustainability and ethical concerns in hospitality management are further explored in a constantly changing environment due to emerging issues, changing business models, innovations, and technological advancements. This course is conducted through 9 weekly lectures and students, upon completion of this course, will be able to create and explain innovative hospitality facilities, services and online marketing campaigns in a sustainable and ethical manner.Classes are mostly be conducted during the day between 8.30am and 6.30pm on weekdays.Job Requirements- Possess a Master’s Degree or professional qualification in the relevant discipline.- Have at least 5 years of related working experience.- Have at least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at tertiary level.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
