- Support the Reporting Officer and HOD in managing key aspects of the campus redevelopment, including:
- Strategic and functional planning for hospital departments
- Workflow integration, space programming, user requirement consolidation
- Project documentation, budgeting, and timeline tracking
- Coordination of internal and external stakeholder inputs
- Assist in long-term infrastructure planning aligned with hospital redevelopment milestones, incorporating both clinical and non-clinical requirements, and ensuring alignment with NUHS cluster-level and national healthcare priorities.
- Work collaboratively with various stakeholder groups, including clinical services, operations teams, facilities, and external partners such as MOH, MOHH, consultants, and building authorities.
- Provide secretariat support for planning meetings and user workgroups, ensuring timely follow-up, documentation, and alignment of targets and approvals across phases.
- Support he development and upkeep of a structured knowledge management system to consolidate:
- Functional Design Briefs (FDBs)
- Meeting notes, decisions, and reference documents
- Planning assumptions and benchmarking data
- Conduct horizon scanning of national and global trends in healthcare infrastructure, digital tools, operational models, and hospital support services. Translate findings into planning implications and identify potential enablers or constraints.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer or HOD, including support for operational readiness, commissioning activities, or organizational change initiatives.
- Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Engineering, Hospitality, or a related discipline. Professional training in healthcare infrastructure or systems planning will be advantageous.
- At least 3 to 5 years' working experience in hospital operations, healthcare infrastructure projects, or strategic planning. Candidates with exposure to planning or operations of hospital back-of-house services (e.g. kitchen, portering, logistics, linen, materials supply) will have an advantage.
- Demonstrated skills in planning, analysis, stakeholder coordination, and structured communication (written and verbal).
- Adaptable and resourceful, able to multi-task and work independently while contributing effectively to cross-functional teams.
