Marine Engine Fitter / Technician

• Perform ship repair jobs on main and auxiliary engines, machinery and mechanical parts
• Work positively with a team of service technicians and marine engine fitters
• Assist in service report preparation and coordination with customers
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met as per customers requirements
• Perform other duties as may be assigned

• Possess a technical or vocational certificate in marine or mechanical studies
• At least 2 years hands-on main and auxiliary engine repairs (2 or 4 stroke diesel engine)
• Possess valid Shipyard Safety Induction or Supervisor Course
• Physically fit and able to do engine repair jobs onboard the vessels
• Able to do overtime and work during weekends and public holidays for urgent repair jobs
• Positive working attitude with good interpersonal skills
