- Lead department users in Procurement with end-to-end solutions based on industry best practice, established guidelines and procedures. • Develop, re-imagine and automate on procurement approaches, work processes to improve overall efficiency of Procurement functions. • Ensure that the departments under her/his charge administer all procurement processes and procedures in accordance with the Instruction Manual on Procurement. • Work closely as a strategic business partner with project teams to prepare the necessary documents, provide guidance for the evaluation process and partner contract owners to monitor awarded vendor and contract performance. • Partner departments for holistic solutioning, including adopting and adapting to new technologies such as data analytics, artificial intelligence, etc. • Equip with effective stakeholder engagement, data-mining and strategic thinking skills, in addition to Procurement proficiency. • Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.
- At least 3 years of relevant applied public sector procurement experience. • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Supply-chain or Business preferred. • Possess industry knowledge and relevant experience in handling complex purchasing. • Understanding of IM on Procurement and GeBIZ would be an advantage. • Able to handle end users professionally, work independently and be efficient with a strong customer service mindset and sense of urgency. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines. • Possess an inquisitive mind, able to connect patterns, meticulous with deft mental agility and a good team player. • Excellent written, communication, presentation and IT skills are essential.
