  • Manage the tax compliance process including preparation and/or review of direct and indirect tax returns for Asia. Work with Asia Finance and tax advisors to ensure timely filing of the tax returns.
  • Ensure compliance with transfer pricing requirements for Asia.
  • Prepare and/or review income tax provision calculations and US tax reporting packages in collaboration with Asia Finance and US Head Office.
  • Assist with tax audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaison with tax advisors and/or tax authorities.
  • Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess the tax impacts.
  • Provide direct and indirect tax advice on various cross-border business opportunities.
  • Support Tax Director, Asia on ad-hoc tasks and/or tax initiatives.
Qualifications
  • University graduate in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of tax experience in Big 4 or large MNC with regional exposure in Asia. Candidates with more experience will be considered as Tax Manager.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communications skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
