job detailsAbout the companyOur client is a renowned snack brand known for its delicious and innovative offerings, delivering satisfying flavors and textures and they are looking for a highly motivated Supplier Quality Executive to join the team.About the jobAs a Supplier Quality Executive for the organization, you are required to:

Evaluate potential suppliers for quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Develop and implement supplier quality agreements outlining expectations, specifications, and quality standards.
Conduct supplier audits to assess compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
Monitor supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, product quality, and corrective action response time.
Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues, non-conformances, and deviations in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier quality performance and reduce supply chain risk.
Collaborate with procurement, production, and quality control teams to address quality issues and drive supplier development initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of supplier quality activities, audit findings, corrective actions, and supplier performance metrics.
Stay updated on food safety regulations, industry trends, and best practices in supplier quality management.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess a Degree in related disciplines, preferably with minimum 3 years of related work experience
Experience in overseeing supplier management, including approval processes and performance monitoring.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with suppliers.
Leading the QC team to ensure inspections align with BRCGS, SMETA 4-pillars, FDA, HACCP standards, and GMP requirements.
Proficient in people management and communication.
Skilled in root cause analysis for deviation and non-conformance handling, with adept problem-solving abilities using QC tools.
Expertise in developing SOPs, work instructions, checklists, forms, and records.
Proficient in chemical and microbiological testing protocols.
