[What the role is]
1. Develops and executes initiatives to build on the professional capabilities of volunteer management practitioners in working with volunteers to nurture a caring and inclusive society under the SG Cares movement.
2. Collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to build and strengthen the volunteer management community with learning from VM experts and sharing of VM best practices to catalyse structured, strategic and sustainable volunteerism in the sector.
3. Engage with ecosystem partners eg community and corporate organisations to optimise resources eg volunteers, in the sector for a more sustainable manpower model to meet increasing community needs[What you will be working on]
  • Strengthen the capabilities of volunteer management practitioners by deepening their knowledge and skills in volunteer management through learning & development opportunities, networking events and sharing of resources
  • Engage social service agencies and their volunteer management practitioners continuously, promote sharing of best practices and collaboration within the volunteer management community
  • Evaluate and measure outcomes of all initiatives with data and communicate the collective impact in volunteerism and volunteer management
  • Manage strategic partners and stakeholders in the volunteerism ecosystem to support the NCSS 4ST Roadmap, NCSS Sustainable Philanthropy Framework and SG Cares initiatives
  • Manage and ensure compliance of integrity in matters of people, processes, procurement and relationships (vendors/suppliers/partners etc)
  • Any other duties as assigned

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in partnership development and marketing communications
  • Volunteering and/or non-profit experience is preferred
  • Experience in the People-Private-Public sector will be an added advantage
