Senior Executive, Procurement & Logistics

• Assist Procurement & Logistics Manager in coordinating and monitoring the procurement & logistics process for the assigned project's packages
• Perform day-to-day procurement and logistics activities as required
• Support and handle the delivery of equipment and materials to Artificial Island or process plant
• Coordinate with different logistics providers to ensure equipment and materials are delivered according to the schedule
• Communicate with HK Marine Dept. and project team to ensure all legislative and project requirements are met
• Assist in monitoring and reviewing market conditions, price and delivery trends for project materials, equipment and works
• Assist in sourcing, evaluating and qualifying of new suppliers, maintain effective partnerships with suppliers and contractors
• Register suppliers once they are selected, conduct supplier performance evaluation and procurement process as per procedure
• Assist Procurement & Logistics Manager in handling RFQ / RFP, commercial evaluations, price and conditions of contract negotiation, PO / contract award and PO / contract administration to final delivery and PO / contract close out - Always ensuring that the company's best interest is consistently achieved
• Assist Procurement & Logistics Manager in preparing the monthly procurement reports and cost saving / cost avoidance statistics.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting Manager and / or Head of Department

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Logistics or Procurement with at least 2 years of relevant experience, particularly with experience in construction, projects, tenders and sub-contracting
• Experience in handling the logistics of chemicals (DG) and heavy equipment will be an advantage
• Holder of Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card) and/or Shipboard Cargo Handling Safety Training Course (Blue Card) are preferred
• High integrity, a good team player with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Skillful in negotiation, is resourceful, decisive and analytical
• Proficiency in ERP/SAP Ariba System will be an advantage
• Willing to undertake occasional business travel as required
