JOB DESCRIPTIONActs as the primary liaison between third-party consultants, the company, and topside engineering contractors to ensure seamless communication and coordination.Ensures that all assigned scopes of work are technically feasible, compliant, and delivered on schedule.Prepares Technical Basis of Engineering (TBE) documentation based on third-party safety study proposals.Reviews and assesses reports submitted by third-party consultants for accuracy and compliance.Facilitates inter-discipline coordination to gather inputs essential for comprehensive safety studies.Manages interface issues and coordinate with topside contractors regarding technical safety engineering matters.Identifies, reviews, and tracks recommendations from safety studies, ensuring relevant parties incorporate them into the design.Supports the Project Management Team with Change Tracking Reports (CTR), Material Deviation Requests (MDR), and schedule development and updates.Develops and maintains the overall design safety philosophy.Reviews and approves active and passive fire protection philosophies and specifications.Performs additional project-specific duties as assigned by the Project Manager.Participates in Integrated Document Control (IDC) of engineering documents within the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).Alerts the Engineering Manager and Regulatory Compliance Manager promptly if additional resources are required to ensure the vessel meets technical safety standards without compromising project timelines.Informs relevant section leads of any recommendations from third-party safety studies that may incur additional costs beyond the original project scope.Reviews and provides summaries on TBEs submitted by third-party safety studies.Monitors and manages the issuance and progress of safety studies to ensure timely completion.Mentors and coach junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support.JOB REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.Minimum 10 years of experience in planning and design within the oil and gas industry.Possess a positive, proactive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.Able to multitask effectively and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.Our Address And Working HoursTuas Boulevard Yard
