- Initiate and facilitate industry projects, focusing on events and project management, with an emphasis on large-scale entertainment events, concerts and festivals. Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of these projects.
- Impart a comprehensive range of knowledge and skills related to the organisation of large-scale entertainment events, concerts and festivals to both polytechnic students and adult learners,
- Develop relevant teaching materials including crafting of assessments.
- Enhance the quality of lesson design and delivery through implementing appropriate teaching and learning strategies, incorporating real-world examples from organising large-scale entertainment events, concerts and festivals.
- Design, develop and deliver customised workshops for adult learners, drawing on experience in organising large-scale entertainment events.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned and contribute to poly-wide/school-wide events and/or activities.
- Tertiary qualification(s) in Events Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of proven industry experience overseeing the management of large-scale entertainment events, concerts and festivals. Additional experience in other event types including special events, corporate events, business/MICE events, and major sporting events is advantageous.
- An extensive and strong network of contacts within the realm of large-scale entertainment events, concerts and festivals.
- Self-starter mindset, agile learner, and passion for coaching and mentoring youths and adults.
- Experience in developing a curriculum or providing training in a client-facing environment will be an advantage.
- Possession of Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent qualifications is advantageous.
