The App Ads and Gaming team empowers TikTok's global monetization (billion-dollar business) via efficiently delivering application ads on TikTok. Our mission is to push the boundaries of large-scale ads delivery systems and lead the innovations of TikTok's personalized online advertising. Hence, you'll have a chance to get deeply involved in our large-scale distributed systems and state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms. As a Machine Learning Engineer on the App Ads & Gaming team, you will make efforts to develop novel machine learning solutions for ranking, build scalable foundations and launch various products that maximize the efficiency of deep funnel app ads delivery.

1. Off-cycle / Credit-bearing - May 2024, with a minimum duration of 3 months, for at least 3-4 days per week, ideally full-time.We will prioritize candidates who are able to commit in either internship period. - Optimizing deep CVR/CTR/Recall/Rough-sort/Bidding strategies to maximize various conversion metrics in advertising, including LTVăpayment rate and retention rate etc.
- Improving the effectiveness of ads delivery in privacy-preserving environments
- Exploring new commercial monetization techniques and commercial product designs to promote advertisers' marketing effects
- Exploring cutting-edge machine learning techniques, such as multi-objective learning and LLM, in computational advertisingQualifications:- Currently pursuing Bachelor's Degree and above in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with recommender system projects.
- Familiarity with online experimentation methods and analytics. Essential knowledge and skills in statistics.Preferred Qualifications
