- Partnering with corporate, regional and local Human Resources and Operations to increase collaboration and information sharing related to communications, events and programs
- Staying current on communications tools and channels relevant to target audiences, researching and evaluating opportunities for Jabil to leverage for increased effectiveness
- Writing, editing and overseeing the production of communications collateral and materials
- Supporting the development and implementation of external and internal communications campaigns
- Working closely with the Director, Asia Communications and Enterprise Communications Team to ensure consistent messaging across regions, the continued effectiveness of current programs and leveraging global communications tools and strategies
- Developing appropriate metrics, targets and regular reporting procedures to measure effectiveness of internal and external communications efforts.
- Identifying and, when necessary, liaising with relevant external stakeholders.
- Supporting and coordinating other communications efforts and projects when requested.
- Ability to work independently, setting and working towards aggressive but achievable and measurable goals that directly support internal and external customers and Jabil’s Mission, Vision, Strategies & Initiatives.
- Preferably proficient in English and Mandarin as the role will need to liaise with Mandarin speaking stakeholders.
- Proactively seek professional engagement with colleagues to share resources, increase collaboration, and leverage communications tools and platforms.
- Demonstrate an understanding of communications related issues, their potential impact on Jabil and/or its customers, and Jabil’s position on those issues.
- Partner with Jabil sites within Asia to execute new and sustain existing internal and external initiatives and campaigns and developing and delivering manager’s communications training.
- Ability to manage external agencies, ensuring quality product is achieved, deadlines met, and strategies current and on target.
- Manage compliance to brand identity guidelines for all promotional materials, online & offline
- Advanced writing skills, including the ability to research and write thought leadership pieces for both internal and external audiences.
- Experience working with senior leaders, producing work and reports and providing counsel.
- Desire to find creative solutions to challenges, applying smart, thoughtful strategies that will support specific goals and objectives.
- Able to work well with a variety of people of varying backgrounds and cultures.
- Advanced computer skills, ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Write, design and edit content for marketing materials, web pages, presentations and other external and internal communications materials
- Manage translations of communication materials as needed
- Strong problem solving, negotiation, and people skills are a must.

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- Minimum six to eight years experience in corporate communications in a business-to-business environment preferably in an international context; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive knowledge of the assigned region (South Asia) and experience disseminating information across large target audiences.
