Summary As a Safety and Emergency Training Instructor at SCOOT, you will play a critical role in imparting essential knowledge and skills to our crew, enabling them to respond effectively to various safety and emergency situations. Join us in our mission to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to manage safety onboard safely.You will contribute to flight and cabin crew safety and emergency procedures training through creation of online courses via the use of technology. You uphold SEP training standards and requirements in accordance to legislated matters. Your role is to create, digitalize SEP training materials and to manage the courses on company learning platform.You will report to Manager, SEP Training (Flight Operation) and work closely with the SEP training team.Responsibilities
  • Perform and coordinate Approved Cabin SEP Training and assessment for Flight Crew, Cabin Crew and any other operators determined by the Company.
  • Ensure SEP training, assessments and other safety related matters is conducted to Company and Regulatory standards, policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate SEP Training and assessment schedules with respective Training Administration personnel.
  • Proficient in the use of safety equipment and training apparatus relevant to the training programs.
  • Deliver and facilitate a consistent, high-quality training experience that uphold the organization’s professional standards and provide comprehensive learning experience for all crew.
  • Responsible for accurate entry and maintenance of crew training records.
  • Responsible to complete audits/inspections to meet CAAS and company's requirement within given deadlines.
  • Committed and receptive to continuously improve training methodologies and content with the latest industry trends, regulations and best practices.
  • Assist to design, develop, generate and update training contents, materials and curricula to ensure they meet company's standards and regulations.
  • Actively promoting a Just Safety and Reporting Culture.
  • Liaise with subject matter experts and coordinate with team members, support staff and clients to ensure the delivery of a coherent and holistic training program.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage and instruct participants of diverse backgrounds.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years experience as supervisory cabin crew on wide-body / narrow body
  • 1 year as SEP Training Instructor approved by CAAS, within the last 5 years
  • Possess ACTA certification / Train-The-Trainer certificate
  • Those with cabin safety experience an advantage
