• Perform all types of TIG welding on aircraft engine parts and fixtures to meet high strength and pressure specifications. * Work with Engineering in developing products and first piece editing. Perform all types of TIG welding on aircraft engine parts and fixtures to meet high strength and pressure specifications. Work with Engineering in developing products and first piece editing. Plan and layout welding work on titanium, aluminum, nickel based alloys and stainless steel parts, following standardized work procedures and parameters. Work with engine manuals, operation sheets and parameter sheets. Review and verify received part by comparing to traveler. Develop and construct fixtures as required. Preparation of parts to be welded and set up equipment to accommodate variations in parts and ensure quality welds are achieved. Use welding processes in accordance with practices and specifications found in engine manuals. Use calipers, micrometers, indicators and gauges to measure repaired part and ensure dimensional requirements are met. Fabricate equipment or fixtures as required. Maintain welding certification in specific welds and material as required. Detect faulty operations and material and report these and other problems to immediate Cell Leader. Provide training to others as required. Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area. Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations during course of duties ( Proper PPE ). Shift Pattern: Rotating Day and Night shift Work Location: Changi North Crescent
