- Coordinate and work with Governing Board, both internal and external stakeholders and assist the General Manager in drafting the proposed work plan for the laboratory.
- Ensure work tasks are aligned with the approved work plan and executed accordingly to achieve the desired outcomes.
- Perform and present periodic reviews and reports on the status of the work plan during stakeholders' meetings and Governing Board meetings.
- Engage other Hydrographic Offices, Regional ENC Coordinating Centres (RENCs) and industry stakeholders to be in an environment to consolidate and collaborate on identified technical issues.
- Coordinate and manage technical review sessions by engaging both internal and external stakeholders and technical experts for IHO-Singapore Lab's projects and new proposals.
- Assist and facilitate the conduct of innovative or investigative projects in the laboratory and/or test bedding in the field proposed by IHO Member State(s), IHO organisations, or other stakeholders.
- Share results of efforts freely to further enhance global navigational safety.
- Provide support for the day-to-day operations of the IHO-Singapore Lab.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in the project management and providing executive support to management is required.
- Knowledge and/or experience in maritime industry and/or Research & Development industry would be an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills, ability to work and engage international maritime counterparts, industry partners and associations, etc.
- Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and work independently to meet deadlines, as well as in a team.
- Proactive, take initiative and well-organised, with an attention to detail and highly resourceful.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for an extension or placement on a permanent appointment.
