You’ll also get to learn from us, develop your skills and gain valuable experience for wherever the future takes you.What will you do?Where does the role fit?This project entails deep material characterization and comparability assessments of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) and excipients used in the formulation and manufacture of oral, semisolid and liquid medicinal productsComparability studies are required to assess the impact of product lifecylc changes and material properties on secondary manufacturability (micronization, granulation, mixing, milling and tableting), drug product performance and patient impactThe material characterization techniques involved in this project will encompass some or all of the following: particle sizing, solid state form determination, powder flow, thermal analysis, particle imaging and rheological analysis.What are we looking for?Educational background – Undergraduate studying Bachelor in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, and Materials Science who is interested to learn more about Material Characterization and Comparability Assessment of API(s) and Excipients To Assure Drug Product Manufacturability and Quality.On-the-job learning with high level of independence in project activities.Strong written and oral communications skillsExcellent English proficiencyA keen interest in productionMeticulous, organized, and dedicatedApply his/her knowledge of communications skills and learn engaging different stake holders to deliver a project.What do we offer you?Acquire hands on experience on different material characterization techniques for APIs and excipients used to manufacture medicinal products (particle sizing, XRPD, rheological properties, flow properties, moisture sorption analysis and thermal analysis)Hands-on experience on equipment trouble-shooting and characterization method development (where required)Data analysis and interpretation of results.Present results, participate in material science discussions and influence data-driven decision making.Appreciation of the importance of material characteristics on drug product manufacturing processes and quality.Acquire knowledge and application of good laboratory practices (GLP) and good documentation practices (GDP)Let’s do this!You’ll find hints, tips, and guidance on our recruitment process on our website – Learn more about the application process | GSKYou can hear more from our past interns in the video below:We recommend you apply as soon as possible because we accept ongoing applications and offer positions on a first come, first served basis.Apply now!Need help with your application?
