The role will be part of the Technical Services (TS) organisation within PANW.
- Daily project management throughout the program life cycle for some of our largest customers
- Defining and implementing project and operational governance controls
- Building and maintaining effective project plans and documentation to maximise delivery efficiency and efficacy
- Managing risks and issues from identification through to taking appropriate corrective action in conjunction with the customer and Palo Alto Networks stakeholders
- Act as a customer’s single interface into Palo Alto Networks for Sales, Product Management, Customer Success, Professional Services and Focused Services throughout deployment
- Effectively manage and utilise resources across projects in conjunction with Palo Alto Networks Professional and Focused Services
- Proactively distribute stakeholder communications internal to Palo Alto Networks and the Customer
- Support Revenue recognition activities through effective forecasting of project milestones, deliverables and planning
- Excellent business communication skills, dealing with senior management of internal and external stakeholders
- Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques
- Good understanding of the wider objectives of the program
- Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in the program
- Strong leadership and management skills
- The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems
- BSc in Computer Science, MSc, Business, or equivalent education/training/experience or equivalent military experience required
- 5+ years of related work experience or leading complex projects desired
- Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and utilization
- Strong proficiency with project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Clarizen, Smartsheets
- Good presentation skills including written, oral, presentation
- Strong interpersonal skills including appreciation and the ability to elicit collaboration from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments
- Flexible to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines - able to promptly and expertly react to project adjustments and alterations
- Project Management Institute PMP(r) certification or equivalent a plus
- Experience with Google’s G Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides) is a plus
