- Oversee vessels' compliance with HSE standards and maritime regulations.
- Ensure vessels are operationally ready for voyages and charters.
- Manage audits and inspections (ISM, ISPS, MLC) and vetting processes (OCIMF/SIRE).
- Supervise navigational matters, including passage plan approvals and navigation audits.
- Liaise with terminals, oil majors, Flag and Port State authorities.
- Maintain updated Q88 and HVPQ profiles.
- Monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices.
- Review and update the company's SMS.
- Support vessel crew in training, performance, and discipline.
- Provide technical advice on vessel capabilities.
- Part of the company's emergency response team.
- Handle projects and tasks as assigned.
- Master Mariner or Chief Officer (CoC Class 1 or 2) or ≥2 years shore experience with product/chemical tankers in HSE compliance.
- Strong knowledge of maritime regulations.
- High integrity with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Team-oriented and able to guide and motivate crew effectively.
