Develop and implement the procurement strategy aligned with the organization overall objectives and financial targets
Forecast procurement needs, assess risks, and create contingency plans to ensure consistent supply
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, reliability, and cost effectiveness
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions
Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and service levels
Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting professional development and a positive work environment
Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop risk mitigation strategies
Monitor global market trends, geopolitical developments, and industry changes that may impact procurement activities
Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improve procurement performance
Prepare regular reports on procurement metrics, cost savings, and supplier performance for senior management

skills & experience required

Master / Degree / Diploma in supply chain / mechanical / electrical engineering or related
Min 8 years in procurement of tyre rubber and rubber related raw materials with 4 years in management
Success in implementing procurement strategies and achieving cost savings
In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain management, and contract negotiation
