Key ResponsibilitiesPerform inspection, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of marine diesel engines.Conduct engine overhauls, calibration, performance testing, and alignment checks.Support engine commissioning, sea trials, and warranty services as required.Provide technical advice and hands-on support to ship crew during service assignments.Prepare accurate service reports, documentation, and recommendations after each job.Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines, class requirements, and safety standards.Liaise with customers, shipyards, and suppliers to ensure efficient execution of service jobs.Assist in root cause analysis of engine failures and propose corrective measures.Stay updated on the latest engine technology, diagnostic tools, and service practices.
