- Consolidating and reviewing month-end closings for Singapore and other entities within the Group.
- Preparing month-end closing reports for Corporate, complete with insightful commentaries.
- Coordinating and reviewing all year-end closing and tax packages required by Corporate.
- Managing the overall Accounts Receivable function.
- Ensuring timely billing, collection, and process improvements for efficiency.
- Intercompany, General Ledger & Accruals
- Overseeing and ensuring the accuracy of intercompany balances, general ledger, and accruals during month-end closings.
- Preparing monthly cash flow forecasts with detailed commentaries for the Group.
- Supporting the Controller in managing working capital.
- Collaborating with auditors and tax agents to manage statutory audits and tax filings for Singapore entities.
- Overseeing audits and tax filings for all other entities in the Group.
- Leading ad-hoc tax queries and audits.
- Managing transfer pricing compliance and corporate secretarial compliance for the Singapore entity.
- Managing and supporting the long-term career development of the Accountant reporting to this role.
- Providing technical accounting updates and implementing necessary changes.
- Supporting the Controller in reviewing internal controls and implementing recommendations for improvement.
- Assisting in forecasting and budgeting exercises.
- Leading relevant assignments such as change management and accounting software implementation.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy and a CPA or CA qualification.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in Audit and Accounting.
- Prior external audit experience (Big 4 audit firms preferred); internal audit experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in financial accounting software (e.g., Oracle NetSuite, Navision, SAP).
- Familiarity with financial reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion, TM1, Essbase).
- Strong skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
