- Bachelor’s Degree required in Electrical/Electronic engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years in a Product Development environment, from Hardware or Firmware Engineering background with People Management experience.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Master preferred with proven completion of projects in which solutions were sought at the root level of the problem.
- Experience working in cross-functional, cross-business and cross-cultural projects.
- Proven Leadership and Change Management experience driving process improvement projects.
- Hands-on personality.
- Practitioner of APQP methodology.
- Risk Mitigation, Process Compliance, Design Reviews, Anomaly management, Validation/verification of new design during Product Development.
- Provide technical support in engineering reviews, drawing and specification review.
- Hardware defect or failure trend analysis and suggest improvements.
- Effectively apply technical or professional skills within the context of one's role.
- Recognize/anticipate barriers to completing assigned work/projects.
- Focuses and determines proper engineering principles on reliability issues.
- Uses reliability engineering principles and tools (such as Weibull, RCI, FMEA).
- Drive and own preventive quality assurance during development and industrialization setup.
- Ensures quality and manufacturing process readiness before start of mass production to attain a flawless launch.
- Implement lessons learned in other/new products, respectively new or running projects.
- Identify and manage Critical To Quality (CTQ’s)
- When standard procedures do not apply, use judgment and draw on past experience to interpret information, solve routine problems and/or recommend approaches.
- Adhere to defined and communicated standards, methods, and procedures, with openness to identifying improvements.
