- To ensure that the pool is well-stocked with sufficient towels for guest comfort.
- To manage the staffing of the pool so that a high level of service can be offered to all guests.
- To conduct checks that the appearance and cleanliness of the pool and the pool deck area are of a high standard.
- To liaise with external vendors for the purpose of coordinating and improving the operational readiness of the pool.
- To liaise with internal departments for the needs and requirements of the pool in order for operations to proceed smoothly.
- To train and groom staff regularly so that the staff are well-advised and have proper presentation in line with company policy.
- Conduct pre-shift line-up with staff and review all information pertinent to set up and service.
- Constantly monitor staff performance in all phases of service and job functions, ensuring that all procedures are carried out to departmental standards, rectify any deficiencies with respective personnel.
- Foster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and employee morale.
- Provide feedback to staff on their performance.
- To assist managers with scheduling as needed.
- To communicate to team members on departmental updates, issues and guest-related matters.
- Be conversant with all facets of SkyPark operations including fire safety and emergency related procedures.
- Attend to guest requests. In the event that the request is not directly related to his/her area of capacity, to forward the request on to the right department.
- Observe guests reactions and confer frequently with service staff to ensure guest satisfaction
- Provide feedback on staff performance to manager. Report disciplinary problems to manager and participate in the counseling of employees.
- Adhere to departmental and organizational benchmarking standards.
- Perform administrative duties as requested such as filing of reports.
- Attend scheduled departmental meetings and daily briefings as required.
- Check storage areas for proper supplies, organization and cleanliness. Instruct designated personnel to rectify any cleanliness / organization deficiencies.
- Complete requisition to replenish shortages or additional items as needed and submit to Manager.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by the management.
- Minimum GCE O Level.
- Certificate in Hospitality Operations from a recognized institution is preferred.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in the same capacity.
- Excellent guest relations and communication skills.
- Fluent in English, knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Candidates must have a good command of spoken and written English.
- Pays attention to details and have strong customer service skills.
- A team player who is organized and is able to work independently.
- Can motivate fellow team members to achieve shift targets.
- Well-groomed and professional disposition.
