- Discussing and planning wedding theme, venue setup and F&B requirements with the clients
- Preparing and maintaining wedding guest list
- Providing creative input in terms of decor and music to the clients
- Liaising with different vendors and suppliers and negotiating contract terms
- Maintaining a proper schedule of all the wedding shows
- Discussing budget and travel restrictions with clients specially for a destination wedding
- Undertaking all wedding preparations within the set budget
- Coordinating requirement with internal stakeholders on setup, F&B, and hotel accommodation
- Being physically available on the wedding day
- Handling all logistics duties
- Obtaining quotes from vendors and ensuring timely payment
- Creating and communicating an appropriate timeline for all the wedding activities
- Advising clients on different wedding packages
- Contacting and coordinating with external vendors; Decorators, Musicians, and other service providers
- Printing and sending out wedding invitations
- Ensuring all wedding supplies are transported to the venue in a timely manner.
- Booking venue for the wedding date and other ceremonies
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality or related subjects
- 3-5 years' experience as a Wedding Coordinator or relevant management role
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Impressive negotiating and communication skills
- Basic understanding of different religious practices
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Highly creative and detail oriented
- Excellent leadership skills
