- The Summer Intern will support the Nourish Ventures investment team by conducting deep-dive investment thesis research and idea generation in human nutrition. This role will provide exposure to all aspects of venture capital investing and require close collaboration with the global Nourish Ventures team.
- The intern will get exposure to all aspects of the CVC process such as sourcing, deal flow, due diligence and PortCo management.
- The ideal candidate will be based in Singapore.
- Conduct deep-dive market and academic research to support the development of investment theses in human nutrition and its applications in food.
- Analyze and synthesize industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for investment.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and internal briefings on key research findings.
- Support the investment team with diligence and evaluation of potential deals, including market sizing, competitive landscape analysis, and strategic fit analysis.
- Prepare technical briefing memos to educate the rest of the NV team on specific research topics.
- Collaborate with the team on developing frameworks and processes to improve research efficiency.
- Engage with startups, investors, and ecosystem partners to build industry knowledge and networking opportunities.
- Work closely with the global Nourish Ventures team to communicate research findings and contribute to ongoing initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field with strong personal interest in human nutrition related topics.
- We’re looking for someone who combines strong analytical and commercial training with a genuine curiosity about the evolving science of human nutrition and its applications in food.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to extract actionable insights from complex data and industry reports.
- Demonstrated interest in venture capital and the food industry.
- Ability to independently structure approaches to solving complex problems.
- Academic or professional exposure to — or a strong interest in — human nutrition.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas and to present to senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a dynamic, international environment.
