- Deliver and/or facilitate modules in subject areas such as Accounting & Finance, Business Analytics, Digital Business, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Management, or Sustainability.
- Coordinate with Heads of Programme, Module Leaders, and academic teams on lesson planning, assessments, moderation, and grading processes.
- Monitor student engagement and academic performance, provide timely feedback, advisement, and progression counselling to support learner success.
- Uphold SIM academic policies and quality standards to ensure consistency, fairness, and rigour in teaching, assessment, and grading practices.
- Participate in academic reviews and contribute to the continuous enhancement of programmes, ensuring alignment with evolving industry trends and future skill requirements.
- Lead and coordinate international academic projects and partnerships, especially with teaching institutions across Asia.
- Develop, manage, and strengthen cross-border programme collaborations, ensuring alignment with academic goals and institutional policies.
- Serve as a liaison between SIM and teaching institutions, fostering effective communication, cultural sensitivity, and project delivery.
- Provide academic leadership in areas such as accreditation, curriculum mapping, and teaching innovation.
- Design, update, and contextualise course materials for face-to-face, blended, and online delivery formats.
- Integrate applied knowledge, real-world case studies, and interdisciplinary themes (e.g. data literacy, digital transformation, sustainability) to maintain industry relevance and learner engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues and subject matter experts to ensure curricular innovation and practical relevance.
- Create and share teaching resources, templates, and good practices to enhance instructional quality across the academic team.
- Contribute to pedagogical innovation through active participation in faculty learning communities, workshops, onboarding programmes, and academic development events.
- Provide peer support and consultation on learner-centred teaching strategies, digital tools, and assessment design.
- A Master’s degree in Business, Management, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, Sustainability, or a closely related discipline is required.
- A Doctoral degree will be an advantage, depending on the subject area.
- At least 10 years of teaching, training, or curriculum development experience within Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) or universities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate international academic projects, including partnerships with overseas universities or other global institutions.
- Proven teaching experience in business-related subjects such as Digital Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Business Analytics, Sustainability, Accounting, or Finance.
- Experience working collaboratively with academic teams and/or industry stakeholders to develop practical, applied, and future-focused content.
- Familiarity with blended and online learning environments, including use of educational technologies (e.g. LMS platforms, video conferencing tools, e-assessment systems) to support learner engagement.
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership, project coordination, and stakeholder management abilities, especially in cross-border academic contexts.
- Excellent organisational, facilitation, and time management skills.
- Proficient in learning management systems, e-learning tools, and digital content creation for teaching.
