Securities Sales Analyst (Japanese Speaking)

• To work under the supervision of the team leader/head, you will closely collaborate with Relationship Managers (RMs) to support client onboarding and assistance, primarily focusing on Institutional and Corporate clients from Japan
• Supporting RMs in onboarding new accounts
• Conducting Account Opening checks, including KYC, AML, and customer Due Diligence checks
• Collaborating with Front/Middle/Back office to deliver prompt pre- and post-sales service functions for customer issue resolution
• Engaging directly with clients to ensure their accounts are fully operational on the trading platforms
• Assisting the RM in implementing initiatives and marketing plans
• Aiding in the proper maintenance of information/documentation in compliance with regulations
• Contributing to process review and process re-engineering efforts to enhance internal controls and work efficiencies
• Preparing monthly reports, including business and marketing reports
• Performing other ad hoc duties as assigned

• A Diploma/Degree holder in Accountancy/Business/Finance or equivalent preferred
• Possessing knowledge of or experience in securities, derivatives, LFX, and private banking industry will be advantageous
• Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrating proficiency in English and Japanese is mandatory for liaising with native Japanese-speaking clients
• Exhibiting a positive, meticulous, systematic, assertive, and analytical approach, with strong problem-solving skills, as well as good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Being able to work under tight timelines and withstand pressure
• Willingness to travel, as and when required
