As an R&D Fellow, you will collaborate with a global team of scientists and engineers to conduct research, analyze data, and develop innovative solutions aimed at optimizing control performance and enhancing system dynamics. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to groundbreaking advancements in the field of advanced control systems.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct high-quality research on advanced control models and algorithms for complex actuation systems, including piezo motors, rotary-translation stages, and high-performance drive controllers.
  • Apply and evaluate system control models and algorithms through computer simulation and lab experiments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement control models and algorithms into company products, focusing on precision positioning applications.
  • Document technical reports, program codes, algorithms, etc., for patent applications and publication in leading journals and conferences.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. degree or Master's degree (with at least 4 years of research experience) in advanced control theory, control science and engineering, applied mathematics, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Strong research background in control systems theory and implementation.
  • Technical expertise in control system algorithms, with advanced skills in statistics, optimization, and/or machine learning.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, MATLAB, or Python.
  • Knowledge of precision positioning systems and motion control technologies.
  • Experience with modeling and simulation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Prior experience in the development of advanced control models and algorithms for industrial applications is a plus.
