It facilitates the development of infrastructure, adoption of technology, and upgrading of skills in the financial industry.Join us now, if you have a genuine interest in making an impact to help shape Singapore’s economic and financial landscape.[What you will be working on]You will be part of a dynamic team within Application Architecture Engineering unit within Information Technology Department.In this role, the officer is expected to undertake the following areas of work:Application architecture design and governanceDesign principles for application solutioning and domain functional design.Governs and steering of individual application and architecture design across all MAS end-user facing application portfolio.In conjunction with business and product teams, to design a solution experience that meets the needs of user through human, digital, and physical interactions, over time, across a journey (in conjunction with policy, process, digital enablers).Support development teams by providing advice and guiding the engineers in solving technical problems, code review etc.Application engineeringFacilitate and assist individual application division to carry out engineering work with enterprise platforms & infrastructure.Operationalize and standardize engineering works within individual application division.Coordinate and work with other technical teams (e.g. Infrastructure, Enterprise, Applications, Security) to set up infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, application integrations and resolve deployment and integration issue.Improve software quality using cloud-native and Agile development practices such as TDD, automated CI/CD etc.Assist QA on test automation and identify technical pitfalls and challenges.Cross-division application developmentRun cross-cutting engineering programs to standardise application common platforms and create reusable libraries etc…Cloud and DevSecOps onboarding[What we are looking for]Good Bachelor Degree or Master Degree with minimally 7 years of relevant working experience in application development and design, and business analysisStrong knowledge of solution architectures and integration patternsAbility to design and develop large scale applications to solve complex business problemsProficient in Java, .Net, React.js and MYSQLFamiliar with multi-paradigm programming languagesExperience in software development lifecycle in an Agile Scrum contextExperience in containers, microservices and DevSecOps technologiesFamiliar with cloud-native technology.Experience in designing and developing applications in AWS cloud environment. Certification on AWS cloud technology is preferred.Good understanding of SRE/Service/Security /Compliance Management process including change, incident, problem on cloud platformGood analytical skills, and able to mulit-task and deliver results in a timely mannerAbility to resolve complex problems creativelySelf-driven, creative and team-oriented person with good interpersonal and organizational skillsAs part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.This is contract position till Dec 2025.
