Engineering TechnicianGeneral Summary:As an Engineering Technician, you will frequently collaborate with Engineers across Qualcomm to optimize the utilization of our equipment and components. You will play a key role in the preliminary stages of our technical processes. Engineering Technicians will also be responsible for upkeeping and implementing operations and safety standards in the workplace to ensure all components of our equipment is properly handled.Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree.
OR
Associate's degree and 1+ year of Engineering Technician or related work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of Engineering Technician or related work experience.Physical Requirements:

Frequently transports and installs equipment weighing at least 25 lbs.

Job FunctionPerform reballing for integrate circuit. Failure analysis scanning- X-ray and CSAM. Prototype assembly hardware repair.Skills/ExperienceWe are looking for candidate who will be able to support our expansion.The candidate should have exposure in semiconductor manufacturing environment with at least 2 years hands-on experience on reballing, X-ray and CSAM.A good communication skill is required as the job will require communicating with internal customers.Responsibilities

Perform re-balling.
Non-destructive Level 1 Failure Analysis tests: X-ray and C-SAM
Repair of prototype assembly hardware, including the extraction and mounting of integrated circuits

RequirementsDiploma in Engineering preferably Electrical/electromechanical EngineeringMinimum of 2 years' experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment.Preferably with hands-on experience on component soldering, re-balling, X-ray and CSAM.Applicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
