Our team delivers data-driven, actionable insights through the application of computational approaches to guide strategic decisions in clinical development that are already having a profound impact in the lives of patients.We are looking for a talented and highly motivated intern in computational biology with a strong background in data science, to turn data into insights and contribute to the development of the next generation of cancer therapies.The ideal candidate will play a critical role in guiding strategic decisions in our drug development workflow by applying their extensive data science experience and expertise, and his/her analyses will have a strong and immediate influence on the company's decision-making process.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Mine public databases, publications and other public resources to deliver actionable insights that impact the development of the next generation of cancer treatment
Research and implement novel analytical approaches to support drug discovery research
Perform analysis of multi-modal pre-clinical and clinical data to identify biomarkers for our programs
Perform other data mining tasks as needed
Support with figures and slide deck preparation

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Being currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master’s Program in Computer Science, Computational Biology, bioinformatics or related science program
Experience in Python and/or R for data analysis
Good understanding of molecular biology and immunology
Familiarity with omics and high-throughput assay databases
Desirable to have strong communication skills, with a focus on creating and delivering presentations
