What the role is:The Senior Manager / Manager, Enterprise Partnership and Engagement plays a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant SkillsFuture ecosystem, aimed at supporting enterprises in their upskilling endeavours as an integral part of their business strategy. This position involves strategic engagement with enterprises and intermediaries, such as trade associations and larger enterprises, to enhance SkillsFuture awareness and adoption, particularly among small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The role demands a proactive approach in understanding ground issues related to jobs and skills, developing relevant SkillsFuture solutions, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and skills development in alignment with our organisation's mission, vision, and values.What you will be working on:Strategy Development and ImplementationImplement actionable plans to cultivate a dynamic SkillsFuture ecosystem that aids enterprises in their upskilling initiatives.Engage with enterprises to grasp ground-level challenges concerning jobs and skills, refining strategies to devise pertinent SkillsFuture solutions.Enterprise EngagementAccount-manage intermediaries, including trade associations and larger enterprises, to boost SkillsFuture awareness and adoption among SMEs.Promote SkillsFuture through participation in events, forums, and other engagement platforms, targeting enterprises and relevant stakeholders.Support the creation of impactful SkillsFuture content for enterprise engagement across various channels.SolutioningAid in the development of intermediaries' capability and expertise to encourage and facilitate SkillsFuture adoption by enterprises.Formulate and execute a framework to assess the current state, gaps, and opportunities in enterprises' skills acquisition, utilization, and recognition processes.OperationsMaintain an effective feedback loop with key stakeholders, ensuring timely reporting and data sharing to enhance process and program development.What we are looking for:Tertiary qualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in partnership management, stakeholder engagement, or a similar role, preferably within the SkillsFuture ecosystem or related sectors.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with organizational goals.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders.Experience in program or project management, with a knack for identifying and solving complex problems.Possess analytical and strategic thinking skills to devise practical solutions to tackle work issuesPossess project and resource management skills to handle concurrent work assignments, and deliver high quality-work within tight deadlinesAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and thrive a fast-paced, dynamic work setting.Deep understanding of the SkillsFuture initiative, workforce development trends, and the challenges and opportunities within the Singapore job market.A committed and strong advocate to continuous learning and professional development, in line with our organization's values of innovation, collaboration, and lifelong learning.A proactive, innovative thinker who is passionate about making a difference in the SkillsFuture movement.Applicants with little or no experience will be considered for Manager positionApplicants without tertiary qualifications but with relevant experience are welcome to applySuccessful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for an extension or be placed on a permanent tenure, subject to availability of permanent headcountAbout SkillsFuture Singapore:SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Education (MOE). It will drive and coordinate the implementation of the national SkillsFuture movement, promote a culture and holistic system of lifelong learning through the pursuit of skills mastery, and strengthen the ecosystem of quality education and training in Singapore. SSG will strengthen the adult training infrastructure by taking on all existing functions of the Committee for Private Education (CPE) and guide the Institute for Adult Learning (IAL) to enhance the capabilities and professionalism of adult educators. SSG will play a key role in the quality assurance for private education institutions and adult training centres. Together with educational institutions and training partners, SSG will ensure that students and working adults have access to high quality, industry-relevant training throughout life. SSG will also bring together synergies in continuing education and training (CET) and pre-employment training (PET), so skills requirements will continue to meet the demands of different sectors of the economy.
