- Review and analyse materials requirements for production and execute the vital actions such as generating Purchase Order, scheduling and re-scheduling of material based on MRP requirement
- Coordinate with operations team on material purchasing plan to support production and ensure continuous material supply.
- Manage import operation and administrate required documents with suppliers, forwarder and operation teams
- Coordinate escalated supply issue e.g., shipment delay, documents status
- Manage and control of raw material inventory level to optimize stock turnover to achieve desired company inventory turn objective.
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers.
- Conduct supplier audits and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
- Manage supplier base to achieve delivery performance and negotiate with supplier to ensure optimum cost competitiveness.
- Manage supplier relationships, resolve supplier issues, and supply risks.
- Participating in internal and external audits
- Provide support in sourcing, price checking and new source qualification process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Sourcing team, Production, Quality Assurance, etc.) to ensure sourcing meets production timelines, cost targets, and product specifications.
- Provide support on project related procurement aspects
- Diploma / Degree in supply chain management, business management or chemical engineering is a plus.
- 3-5 years working experience in supply chain management or procurement
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin
- Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
