We want you to grow and expand with us as we grow.Do you want to join us on Active8me's vision and the journey to change lives?POSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Tester to join our tech team in ensuring the quality and functionality of our mobile applications. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of our digital platform and delivering exceptional user experiences. You will play a key role in identifying defects (testing is mainly manual presently); crafting testing scenarios; and ensuring the seamless performance of our mobile applications across various platforms.JOB RESPONSIBILITYRESPONSIBILITIES● Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for our mobile application.● Execute manual testing procedures according to the existing testing checklist to identify defects and ensure product quality on iOS and Android platforms.● Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team across different time zones to understand product requirements and specifications.● Proactively communicate with team members to provide updates on testing progress, issues, and resolutions.● Document and track defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.● Provide feedback on product design and usability, and suggest improvements to enhance user experience.● Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mobile application testing.JOB REQUIREMENTQUALIFICATIONS● Minimum 2 years of experience in manual testing of mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.● Good understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.● Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.● Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
