Porsche Singapore is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Service Technician with experience in vehicle servicing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and a commitment to service excellence.
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
- Carry out repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, electrical components, including high-voltage systems.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid checks, in line with manufacturer and dealership guidelines.
- Accurately document all work performed, including parts and labour, to maintain complete repair records.
- Use specialised diagnostic tools, hand tools, and electronic testing equipment safely and efficiently, while maintaining a clean and organised workspace and adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
- Provide excellent service by proactively and effectively communicating necessary repairs, timelines, status updates, and maintenance needs with all After Sales departments, Service Advisors and customers, while addressing any customer concerns.
- Stay updated on automotive technology, repair techniques, and industry best practices, with a focus on Porsche vehicle systems by participating in on-the-job training and certification programs as needed.
- Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Residents (SPR) are preferred
- Experience as automotive service technician, specifically with Porsche vehicles, along with knowledge of Porsche’s mechanical and electronic vehicle systems or manufacturer-specific training in Porsche service and repair is highly preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in diagnostic tools and repair equipment, particularly with Porsche models
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to providing high-quality work
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Physical capability to lift up to 20kg and perform tasks associated with automotive repair
- Possess a Class 3 Driving License with at least 4 years of driving experience
- Ability for a 5.5 day work week
