[What the role is] To manage and grow Sentosa's Chinese social media presence by producing engaging and culturally relevant content that enhances awareness, inspires visits, drives conversions, and fosters user engagement. The role involves collaborating with content agencies, analysing trends, and planning innovative marketing campaigns across WeChat, Weibo, and Xiaohongshu while contributing to other social media platforms. Leveraging expertise in content creation, storytelling, and digital strategy, the position aims to amplify Sentosa's visibility in the Chinese digital landscape and support its broader promotional efforts.[What you will be working on]Key Responsibilities
  • Work with our content agency to manage and produce content for Sentosa’s Chinese social media accounts on Wechat, Weibo and Xiaohongshu.
  • Research trends and identify opportunity to grow our Chinese social media accounts and user engagement among target audiences
  • Content and calendar planning to promote Sentosa and its products, events and activities, including products on Sentosa’s online store.
  • Create and edit engaging content for the target audience to create awareness of Sentosa, drive conversion on Sentosa’s online store and to inspire a visit to the island.
  • Create comprehensive content and marketing campaign briefs
  • Plan and oversee the execution of our channels’ marketing campaigns to gain visibility and grow the channels
  • Assist to produce image and video posts for other social channels such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
[What we are looking for]Job Requirements
  • Proven experience and track record in content creation and social media management, specifically on Xiao Hong Shu, WeChat and Weibo.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in content production and marketing for the relevant social media channels
  • Experience in managing content agency to deliver social content to timelines
  • Strong understanding of the Chinese digital landscape and cultural nuances related to travel and tourism.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills in Simplified Chinese, with a knack for storytelling and visual communication.
  • Ability to copywrite and edit English copies
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • End-to-end experience in producing and editing short-form videos
  • Skilled in Adobe Photoshop advantageous
  • Strong sense of responsibility, ability to work under pressure, excellent copywriting skills, and a good aesthetic sense.
