- Review and understand incoming documentation and new claims notifications, informing relevant parties of potential problems or contentious claims, and seeking guidance when necessary.
- Identify affected policies or coverage parts for medium value claims from middle-market to large clients, validating and clarifying details to ensure proper protocol is followed.
- Determine coverage for medium complexity claims by leveraging knowledge of policies and communicating with Underwriters and Insurers to manage claims effectively.
- Address escalated issues related to claims processing, providing resolutions or deferring to Claims Advocates for technical expertise.
- Liaise with clients on specific claim-related issues, resolving moderate complexity concerns and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Proven experience in claims processing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of insurance policies and claims management processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to analyse and resolve issues related to claims with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Experience working with middle-market to large clients in a claims environment.
- Familiarity with claims reporting and tracking systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in claims management.
