NatSteel's products are used in the construction of residential, industrial and commercial buildings, as well as infrastructural projects.Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesProcess Study & DocumentationObserve and map the current workflows from order receipt to execution.Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and manual steps.Document standard operating procedures (SOPs).Data AnalysisCollect and analyses data on lead times, demand forecasting, yield losses, and throughput.Study historical planning accuracy vs. actual production.Order Receiving & PromisingUnderstand the system/process of handling new orders.Evaluate how customer commitments are made (capacity, lead time, raw material availability).Suggest improvements to make order promising more accurate and reliable.Optimization & AutomationResearch planning tools/software being used and explore automation opportunities.Recommend integration points (ERP, MES, forecasting tools).Propose ways to reduce manual intervention.Yield Loss Reduction & Throughput MaximizationAnalyze production data to identify yield loss points.Collaborate with production & quality teams to understand causes.Suggest process changes or optimization algorithms to minimize losses.Reporting & RecommendationsCreate reports summarizing findings, improvement opportunities, and expected impact.Present suggestions with cost-benefit analysis to management.Skills the Intern Will GainPractical exposure to supply chain & production planning.Hands-on experience in process improvement & digitalisation projects.Exposure to real-world challenges in capacity utilisation, throughput optimisation, and yield improvement.Application InstructionsPlease apply for this position by submitting your text CV to
