Job Description:What You Will Do:
  • Administers and communicates fundamental human resource concepts, policies, programs, practices, and procedures to clients to ensure an understanding of and compliance with HR requirements within the company.
  • Provide employee relations support to management by communicating HR-related policy, procedure, and initiatives to specific client group(s). Advise supervisors and managers regarding performance management techniques. Conduct independent employee relations-related investigations as required. Act as a liaison between management and employees as appropriate. Prepare documentation as needed.
  • Work closely with ABS leaders in the hiring process, staff budget and forecasting, and selecting qualified candidates in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Participates in new hire or onboarding processes.
  • Develop and implement recruitment and selection strategies, including job postings, external advertising, employee referrals, and applicant tracking. May coordinate and participate in applicable job fairs.
  • Administers and communicates employee relocation policies. Oversees the relocation process for new and transferring employees.
  • Understands, recommends, and supports the compensation and benefit plan associated with the ABS business unit or client group.
  • Review merit, promotional, and special salary increases within approved budgetary guidelines and according to established compensation policies. Oversee the processing of pay increases to ensure consistent policy application and accurate adherence to salary administration policies.
  • Review exit interviews for departing employees. Evaluate and identify issues and concerns; make recommendations for improvements and propose resolutions to the Director of Human Resources or HR Manager.
  • Ensures that all confidential information is handled in accordance with PDPA, HIPPA, GDPR, and other data protection legislation. Oversees the processing of employee HRIS changes to ensure accuracy and adherence to HR policies and procedures.
  • Provides various workforce reports for management review and analytical purposes, such as headcount reports, internal and external salary surveys, and other HRIS reports upon request.
  • Utilizes and promotes the use of data presentation/analytic tools such as PowerBI or other applications to optimize information flow and understanding by ABS leaders.
  • Ensures uniform employment practices throughout the organization in compliance with government-mandated policies, laws, or other governing employment regulations or procedures, as applicable.
  • Maintains an active awareness and continuing professional education of applicable HR-related legislation and initiatives.
  • Receives and responds to inquiries from employees and corporate/regional HR staff.
  • Identify, suggest, and implement ongoing process improvements.
  • Maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary to perform all assigned responsibilities satisfactorily.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to Total Quality Management and the process of continuous improvement, identifying and responding actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers; open and responsive to change.
  • Performs other departmental tasks and/or participates in various HR projects as assigned by the Human Resources Manager or management.
What You Will Need:Education and Experience
  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience preferred.
  • IHRP-CP, SHRM-CP, PHR, CIPD, or similar certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Broad technical knowledge of the laws and regulations surrounding human resources policies and practices in the assigned country.
  • Excellent human relations and people-sensitive skills with the ability to interact effectively with various levels of employees, including management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and the local language.
  • Strong organizational ability, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Must be able to work under constant deadlines and can handle multiple duties.
  • Strong computer proficiency. Familiar with PowerBI and Sharepoint.
  • Strong desire to learn and remain current about changing HR trends, through related training classes, seminars, exhibits, trade shows, and other forms of study.
  • Ability to obtain a working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems.
