What the role is:Project title: Development of AI tool to assist in policy work This role involves applying AI, specifically the area of natural language processing, to transform and improve the way MOM officers perform policy work. The intern will work with multiple stakeholders across MOM departments and GovTech to design, implement and manage an AI tool that support policy officers in policy research work.What you will be working on:'- Participate in user research and requirements gathering with policy officers and stakeholders to define project scope and success metrics - Design and develop an AI solution, incorporating natural language processing capabilities into a user-friendly application - Drive user adoption through sharing and feedback sessionsWhat we are looking for:Background in Computer Science/data science/related disciplines, with knowledge in natural language processing and working with pretrained large language models. Intern must be proficient in writing code (e.g. Python).
