For over 70 years, ISD and its predecessor organisations have played a central role in countering threats such as those posed by foreign subversive elements, spies, racial and religious extremists, and terrorists. Manage the data infrastructure to support data analytics on SQL and Big Data technologies • Research, Evaluate and Implement solutions to enhance performance, availability and security of data platforms • Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts and Developers to optimise using data advance technologies.
What we are looking for:
Degree, preferably in Info-communications, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related Engineering field, or equivalent competencies will be preferred. • Applicants with no experience may apply. • Experience using common scripting languages like SQL or Powershell will be preferred. • Knowledge in technologies like Hadoop/Hive/HBase/RDBMS will be advantageous • Good interpersonal and communication skills • Strong analytical skills and able to solve or analyse problems in a systematic manner • Able to work both independently and in a team • Only Singaporeans need apply We wish to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
