A Day in the LifeAppLovin is looking for a passionate People Operations Partner to join our growing People Operations team in APAC. We are looking for someone who has a strong knowledge of streamlined People Operations and HR technology (specifically Workday). You will be the owner of important processes throughout the employee lifecycle - specifically Payroll, drive improvements that help AppLovin grow and scale efficiently, and help make sure our employees and managers get the answers and resources they need, when they need them.The Impact You'll Make
  • Support People Operations activities including new hire onboarding, payroll/benefits enrollment, employee record management, and offboarding in APAC (China, Japan, Korea, and Singapore)
  • Prepare and support end-to-end payroll processing and recording of monthly payroll and review of salary data sources of assigned countries to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of all data sources related to salary
  • Prepare monthly payroll instructions for international payroll third party vendors and audit payroll results received from third party vendors to ensure accuracy
  • Partner with accounting team to obtain expense reimbursements that may need to be added to payrolls
  • Assist with payroll and statutory audits as needed
  • Prepare and maintain international payroll process documentation
  • Respond to data / report requests and audits as needed
  • Update and streamline both internal and employee facing People (HR) playbooks and process documentation for APAC
  • Support cyclical HR programs such as year-end performance management and annual compensation planning
  • Provide first line of support for ad-hoc inquiries sent from employees through our ticketing tool (Zendesk) and provide seamless support, responding to questions and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Provide support to both the People team and business users of Workday
  • Work with global teams across varying time zones across our APAC, EMEA and Americas locations
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of HR Generalist / People Operations and Payroll support experience
  • Fluency in writing/reading/speaking Mandarin & English is required
  • Experience with ADP Celergo & Workday is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced experience with spreadsheet functions in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace suite (ex: VLookUps, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • Have strong customer service skills and respond promptly to employees, HR Business Partners, managers, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to remain composed with a high volume of activities
  • Ethics around confidentiality and sensitive information
