- Develop and formulate beverage prototypes using a variety of flavors and ingredients to suit customer specifications and market demands
- Conduct hands-on lab work to prepare and test finished product prototypes, ensuring the highest quality and consistency in all formulations.
- Provide application and technical support to Key Accounts and Market Managers in the region, ensuring that customer needs are met and product formulations meet the highest standards.
- Work closely with customers to understand their unique requirements, offering technical expertise in beverage formulation and application to deliver tailored solutions.
- Conduct and coordinate internal product evaluation sessions, collaborating with teams to refine and improve prototypes based on feedback and test results.
- Contribute to the development of innovative beverage product concepts, ensuring alignment with customer goals and market trends, and present them to potential customers.
- Support the development of dry and liquid compound systems, enabling turnkey product development from concept to execution.
- Ensure the proper maintenance of the laboratory area and equipment at all times, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, exhibitions, seminars, and courses as required by management, showcasing expertise and building strong customer relationships.
- Maintain the necessary raw material inventory to readily develop fast-tracked projects and prototypes for customers.
- Degree or diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field
- At least 7 years of experience in flavor application and formulation in beverage product development is required.
- Experience in dairy applications and pilot plant operations would be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of beverage production processes, with experience in production or industry settings.
- Competency in basic laboratory skills and proficiency in PC software applications.
- Proven hands-on experience in beverage formulation and product development.
- Experience in project management and team leadership is required, with the ability to oversee multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
