Our client a well-established leader and A1 main contractor in the civil engineering and construction industry, known for delivering high-quality projects across infrastructure, building, and specialized engineering sectors. As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking a Senior Technical Engineer to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.Key Responsibilities
- Support both the technical and construction teams on all design-related matters to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review and validate all technical documentation and engineering drawings to uphold quality and compliance standards.
- Collaborate closely with consultants on scope of services, design development, and project deliverables to enhance site efficiency and constructability.
- Manage the design approval process, coordinating with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues efficiently and on time.
- Ensure all designs strictly adhere to contractual and safety requirements.
- Proactively identify potential risks or technical challenges that could impact project performance and communicate solutions to the project team.
- Assist the tender team in preparing detailed technical tender documents in accordance with project specifications for civil and structural engineering bids.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in design and build civil engineering projects.
- PE board recognized Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Strong technical review skills and project coordination experience.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to facilitate effective cross-disciplinary collaboration.
