Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), APAC, this role will act as the strategic IT partner to senior business leaders across Customer Care, Operations, HR, Legal, and other corporate functions. You'll lead a regionally distributed team focused on delivering innovative technology solutions that drive operational excellence, improve customer and employee experience, and support transformation initiatives.To succeed in this role, you'll bring strong expertise in IT project management, solution architecture, and delivery leadership, along with a proven track record of delivering innovative, business-aligned technology solutions.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute IT strategies that align with business goals, evolving market dynamics, and emerging technologies across APAC.
- Identify and drive digital innovation by evaluating trends and building actionable roadmaps for IT solutions across Customer Care, Operations, and Corporate Functions.
- Lead cross-functional teams across the region, fostering a collaborative culture and ensuring successful delivery of strategic regional and global IT initiatives.
- Engage senior stakeholders, translating business needs into clear IT strategies while ensuring transparent, responsive, and consistent communication.
- Build trusted partnerships with functional leaders, acting as a strategic advisor and contributing to regional IT leadership, planning, and alignment.
- Align IT initiatives with business objectives by understanding functional priorities and delivering innovative, tech-enabled solutions-including automation, analytics, and AI/ML tools.
- Manage the functional IT portfolio, capturing and prioritizing technology demands in line with budget, compliance, and transformation goals.
- Oversee business case development and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and infrastructure standards; support governance through executive presentations.
- Provide strategic oversight on major IT projects, coordinating delivery teams, vendors, and change management to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
- Measure impact and track KPIs, ensuring IT initiatives drive tangible results such as increased productivity, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency.
- Promote operational excellence through process standardization, automation, and optimized use of IT platforms. Represent business needs in IT forums to ensure alignment with service delivery priorities.
- Champion digital transformation by driving user-centric design, agile delivery, and scalable architecture. Measure and communicate business value to foster a culture of innovation and technology adoption.
- Collaborate with the APAC CIO to shape and execute the regional digital roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and market developments through transformative technology adoption.
- Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 15 years of IT leadership experience in global, matrixed environments.
- Proven track record in driving digital transformation across key functions (e.g. Customer Care, Operations, HR, Legal).
- Strong knowledge of enterprise systems, IT governance (ITIL), data privacy, and compliance.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies (AI, ML, IoT, automation, cloud) and their business applications.
- Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master) preferred.
- Experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain is a plus, particularly in digitization and paperless initiatives.
