- Lead the planning, development, and execution of strategic sales initiatives across key South-East Asian markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia, with a focus on driving growth for Allianz-related businesses
- Manage end-to-end sales activities across both Allianz Agency and Bancassurance distribution channels, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities
- Develop and customise comprehensive sales kits, marketing collateral, and client communication materials tailored to regional needs and product positioning
- Deliver structured training programs, investment and product briefings, and market updates to distribution partners to ensure continuous sales capability development
- Organise and facilitate investment seminars and client engagement events to support and drive distribution partner sales activities
- Oversee the preparation and dissemination of daily market updates and strategic insights to distribution partners, strengthening market responsiveness and client servicing
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Product Development, Compliance, Legal, and Operations, ensuring seamless implementation of business strategies and sales enablement initiatives
- Act as a strategic liaison between market distribution and product teams, providing insights into local customer needs, distribution models, and competitive landscapes across the region
- Conduct comprehensive local market research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning, generate sales ideas, and identify business opportunities aligned with client sales cycles
- Leverage global investment platform resources to enhance local relevance and competitiveness of product offerings
- Work closely with the Client & Business Management team to integrate field-level insights into ongoing product development and business planning efforts
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to align product features and value propositions with client distribution strategies, driving deeper engagement and higher sales conversion
- University Degree
- At least 8 years’ relevant experience in financial industry
- Able to undertake frequent regional travel in support of sales activities, client engagements, and partner development initiatives.
- Experience in asset management
- Knowledge /ability to explain/sell other financial products e.g. Insurance, unit-linked products (preferred)
- Good business sense and market feel
- Strong analytical skills
- Deep knowledge of markets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT)
